Thank you for taking the time to read about my dream and my family.  We are excited about the opportunity that lies ahead, as well as the opportunity to share this story with you.  There is a lot involved with going to China to receive the umbilical cord blood stem cell treatments.  I will have to be in China for a month and a half, and I will need someone with me the whole time.  Lori will be spending a great deal of time with me over there, and we will have to leave our children behind as we travel to the other side of the planet.  While in China I will be receiving the stem cell treatments through both IV injections as well as spinal injections.  Of those patients who will experience improvement, some will see the effects of the treatment during their stay in China, while others don't see improvement until six months later.  Visual improvement typically continues for up to a full year.   

Your support would be greatly appreciated and accepted in multiple ways.

We would appreciate your prayers.  We ask that if it be the Lord's will, I would gain vision through this process.  We ask that Cora's vision remains stable, and she is not faced with having to make this decision for herself.  We ask that the fundraising process go well, and we will attain our goals and those who decide to give will be blessed in return.  We ask that the trip would go smoothly and that our children's lives would remain as normal as possible during this lengthy time apart.  Most of all, we ask that the Lord's name be praised in all that we do, see, and say.

The only thing separating me from this potentially life changing stem cell therapy is the cost.  In addition to your prayers, if you feel so moved we would appreciate any financial contributions.  Our church has graciously worked to establish a fund to receive tax deductible donations from people like you to help us offset the cost of our trip to China.  Checks should be made out to Sovereign Grace PCA so you can receive the full tax benefit allowed by law.  Please write "China Fund" on the memo line of the check and request that the funds be used for this purpose.  To make a donation please print the Request Form and mail it along with your donation to:
